Kevin has always had a passion for both food and people which lead him to a career in hospitality. Kevin graduated from George Brown College's Culinary Management Program.

Kevin began his career with Compass Group Canada as Assistant Manager at St. Michael's College (UofT). Soon after, Kevin served as the Catering Manager for St. Michael’s College, where he oversaw numerous high-end catering events, and as Food Service Manager at George Brown College (Casa Loma Campus), where he honed his managerial skills. Kevin continued to grow his career as the Residence Food Service Manager at Ryerson, where he played an integral role in ensuring the success of the RUeats vision for students eating in the Ryerson dining halls, focusing on wholesome, scratch-cooked and sustainable, locally-sourced meals.

As Director of Food Services, it is Kevin's mandate to ensure that all of his clients expectations are met with high regard, or ultimately exceeded. Feel free to reach out, ask questions, and have your say!

Ringo started working as a Chef at Trinity College, University of Toronto in October of 1981. The original residence dining operation at Trinity from 30 years ago has now expanded to a multitude of event catering services for college internal functions, external functions, private parties, weddings, banquets and conferences.

From cooking meals for the over 400 residents, the Provost’s special parties, college reunion parties, or wedding banquets both small and large, providing the best possible service is always his number one priority here at Trinity. While overseeing the resident dining operation and catering activities have been a challenging task, Ringo's success at providing quality service has earned him many accolades from Provosts, college clients, happy wedding couples, alumnus and students.

Ringo graduated from the Hotel and Administration Program at Loyalist College, Belleville, Ontario. Trained by the program Master Chef and apprenticed at the Four Seasons Hotel. Throughout his tenure with the company, Ringo has received extensive training in both Food Service Management and Culinary skills, earning the certificate in culinary techniques from the Culinary Institute of America.

Ringo is currently involved with the planning, production, and service for the College residence dining program and catering activities. He loves to cook gourmet and home-style healthy food designed to please his clients and enjoys seeing their faces after having a good meal.

Bill Aymar - Chef Manager

Chef Bill is a native of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, where he graduated from culinary school in the early 1980's.  After trying his skills in a few local restaurants, Bill relocated to Toronto.  Having worked in many different pubs, bars, restaurants, & dinner cruise boats in the Toronto harbour, he found a position at a 5-star hotel on Toronto's Waterfront, where he continued to practice and eventually wrote is Red Seal exam and earned his Chef credentials! After earning his Red Seal, Bill went on to become the Banquet Chef of the hotel.

Bill started as Chef Manager at St. Hilda's College in 1998 where he was responsible for the food services operation.  Bill has been an active member of the Trinity College community for more than 16 years, with vast experience in creating diverse menus, including vegetarian and vegan dishes!

Janet Nykilchyk - Catering Coordinator

Janet grew up in Sudbury and moved to Toronto to attend York University.  She waitressed her way through University and has been involved in the Events Industry on both a full-time and part-time basis ever since.    After a break in her career to raise a family, Janet worked as a Location Scout and Manager in the Film Industry.  When she decided to change careers it was a natural progression to the Events Industry.  There, she became involved in Event Rentals, Sales and Co-Ordinating.  While maintaining a part-time position as a Server throughout this time, Janet was offered the opportunity to run her own business providing Servers and Bartenders for Special Events.  She took the opportunity and ran her business for five years until, again, she was offered an amazing position with Compass Group Canada.  She said yes to that opportunity as well and finds herself here at Trinity College, managing the catering department.   Janet is happy to bring her unique blend of experiences to the Trinity College Food Services department.
