Adam has been at the DSU since the food service contract started in 2012 and has over 14 years in Food Service Management, including Catering, Residence Dining and Retail Food Service. Adam was born and raised in Halifax and would like to stay in Nova Scotia forever. You will find Adam very approachable, with a strong focus on Customer Service.

Mary Ellen Mcinnis - Chef

Chef Mary Ellen Mcinnis graduated with Honors from NCSS Akerley Campus in 2010 and obtained her Red Seal Chef just a year later. Mary Ellen has been interested in cooking since she was 16 and has worked in many restaurants as a young adult. Chef Mary Ellen has been with Compass Group for more than 3 years now. Mary Ellen has a vested interest in gluten free cooking since a family member has been diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2005. Chef Mary Ellen has taken some part-time courses on her own time at NSCC, they include: Chocolatier, Croissant and Danishes, Boulange and Introduction to Baking and Pastry.
