With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, John Yates is joining our Chartwells team as Chef Manager Cambridge Campus. John has gained a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of food services. He brings a passion for both people and food that translate to an emphasis on customer service! Being a chef allows him to interact with people on many levels. John feels like every day is an opportunity to make a new discovery and to make a positive impact on people, he is looking forward to interacting with students,faculty and all our guest. Suzanne was born and raised right here in the Tri-Cities. Her inspiration for cooking developed early watching her mother and grandmother cooking and baking for their family.
While attending Sheridan College Suzanne worked in an Italian/Portuguese bakery where that passion escalated. She completed several Wilton cake decorating courses and enjoys preparing fun elaborate cakes.
Suzanne brought her many years of experience here to Conestoga College in 2015. Jen has been with Chartwells for 4 years. She comes from a lengthy experience in retail and food services. With a passion for people and food Jen incorporates her unique style and flavor.
