Jennifer, has come full circle right back home again. Conestoga Alumni graduate from Food and Beverage Management at our Waterloo Campus. Jennifer has over eight-teen years of experience in the food service industry with many of those years specializing in catering and event planning within her own family business, She was working with Eurest division of Compass prior to coming over to Chartwells. When she is not working, Jennifer loves the adventure of the outdoors, enjoying all seasons from snowboarding, skiing to sand, beach and crashing waves as well as exploring different cultures and cuisine. Jennifer is an energetic and well-managed Food Services Director for all Conestoga College campus locations. She is a strong leader and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Jennifer is proud to be a part of the Conestoga Community and looks forward to continuous success and growth here!!
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, John Yates is joining our Chartwells team as Chef Manager Cambridge Campus. John has gained a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of food services. He brings a passion for both people and food that translate to an emphasis on customer service! Being a chef allows him to interact with people on many levels. John feels like every day is an opportunity to make a new discovery and to make a positive impact on people, he is looking forward to interacting with students,faculty and all our guest. Dianne has been in her role of Chef Manager at Conestoga College Doon Campus since 2014. She was born and raised in Cambridge Ontario, where she was exposed to a lifestyle of cooking at a young age. When she was 18 she began as a prep cook and quickly discovered her love for cooking. Spending many years in Toronto and working alongside a number of talented chef’s she gathered a little knowledge from all. Dianne is proud that she can incorporate some of today with her own style and finesse. Dianne knew she enjoyed creating food to please her family and friends and once she received the opportunity to express her artistic flare and received customers positive feedback and reactions there was no turning back.
Jackie is a passionate and energetic individual who’s number one goal is your satisfaction, providing exceptional customer service, her aim is to make your dining experience as positive as it can be. Jackie has been with Chartwells Conestoga at many locations for 7 years. She is here to make sure the students experience in our cafe is a great one. Suzanne was born and raised right here in the Tri-Cities. Her inspiration for cooking developed early watching her mother and grandmother cooking and baking for their family.
While attending Sheridan College Suzanne worked in an Italian/Portuguese bakery where that passion escalated. She completed several Wilton cake decorating courses and enjoys preparing fun elaborate cakes.
Suzanne brought her many years of experience here to Conestoga College in 2015.
